Installatron

Overview


Installatron is a one-click web application installer that enables top web applications to be instantly installed and effortlessly managed. The HostBill module allows reselling Installatron Licenses. Benefit from HostBill flexible product configuration options and sell licenses separately or bundled with VPS products. UHostBill automation takes care of license creation, issuing, termination and any package upgrades or downgrades, making it completely hassle free to manage. 

Activating the module


  1. If the module is included in your HostBill edition you can download it from your client portal.
  2. If the module is not included in your HostBill edition you can purchase it from our marketplace and then download it from the client area.
  3. Once you download the module extract it in the main HostBill directory.
  4. Go to Settings → Modules → Hosting Modules, find and activate Installatron module.

Connecting HostBill with Installatron


  1. Proceed to Settings → Apps → Add new App
  2. From Applications list select Installatron
  3. Enter:
    • Name - Name of this connection
    • API Key - obtained from Installatron management portal


      4. Verify entered credentials by clicking Test Connection to check if HostBill can connect
      5. Save Changes


Adding Installatron product


  1. In HostBill go to Settings → Products & Services, and Add new order page
  2. From Order Types select Other Services
  3. After creating order page add new product in it, provide its name & Save changes
  4. In product configuration section proceed to Connect with App, select Installatron and app server created in previous steps. 
  5. Setup package:
    1. IP address - tick "Allow client to adjust during order" to create form for client to enter IP.
    2. External - it's an optional field that flags the license as external. This field works only for distributor accounts.
    3. VPS-only - it's an optional field that flags the license as VPS-only
  6. Submit changes - your package is ready

Configuring Client Functions   


In Products & Services → Your Order Page → Your Product → Client Functions you can control what features customer will have access to in client portal, by clicking Enable/Disable next to the given option.
Use Edit button to adjust function appearance in the client portal.

For Installatron you can enable a number of standard standard client functions
