Overview

OPSSHIELD is a young and reverberant venture focused on developing new software and plugins to support Linux Webhosting Servers. The HostBill module allows reselling OPSSHIELD Licenses. HostBill automation takes care of license creation, issuing, termination and any package upgrades or downgrades, making it completely hassle free to manage. 

Activating the module

  1. If the module is included in your HostBill edition you can download it from your client portal.

  2. If the module is not included in your HostBill edition you can purchase it from our marketplace and then download it from the client area.

  3. Once you download the module extract it in the main HostBill directory.

  4. Go to Settings → Modules → Hosting Modules, find and activate OPSSHIELD module.

Connecting HostBill with OPSSHIELD

  1. Proceed to Settings → Apps → Add new App

  2. From Applications list select Installatron

  3. Enter:

      4. Verify entered credentials by clicking Test Connection to check if HostBill can connect
      5. Save Changes



Adding OPPSHIELD product

  1. In HostBill go to Settings → Products & Services, and Add new order page

  2. From Order Types select Other Services

  3. After creating order page add new product in it, provide its name & Save changes

  4. In product configuration section proceed to Connect with App, select OPSSHIELD and app server created in previous steps. 

  5. Setup package: - use "Get Values from server" to fetch available values from API

    1. Package - package related to product

    2. Prices - related package price group

  6. Submit changes - your package is ready



Email template variable

To send client in related "Account created" email template his:

  • license key:  use {$service.extra_details.license_key} variable 

  • invite_link:  use {$service.extra_details.invite_link} variable

Configuring Client Functions   

In Products & Services → Your Order Page → Your Product → Client Functions you can control what features customer will have access to in client portal, by clicking Enable/Disable next to the given option.
Use Edit button to adjust function appearance in the client portal.

For OPSSHIELD next to  standard standard client functions you can enable module-specific features:

  • License Details - allowing client to display current license info in client portal

  • Reissue License  - allowing client to reissue current license
