Overview

This simple plugin for migrating gateways for accounts/domains. This module allows the admin to change payment gateway used to charge for the recurring invoices for given service or domain, as well as open/unpaid invoices. It's especially useful if you resign from using given gateway and want to migrate to the other with just a few mouse clicks.

Activating the module

  1. The plugin is free and available to all HostBill users. In order to activate the plugin go to Settings→ Modules→ Plugins → Inactive, find and activate Payment Migration plugin.

  2. Once the plugin is activated you will be directed to Settings→ Modules→ Plugins to configure the module.

Module configuration

  1. Choose module display name
  2. Select if you want the plugin to be accessible for all staff members or only selected staff members

Using the module

Once the plugin is activated you can access it in Extras → Plugins → Payment Migration. To migrate the gateway, choose the current gateway (the one you want to migrate from) and new gateway (the one you want to migrate to) and click on 'Migrate' button. Once done you will receive a notification whether or not the migration was successful. If the migration is completed all the future recurring invoices will be processed through the new payment gateway,
