Overview

AI Translation plugin allows to automatically translate various texts across HostBill interface as well as incoming tickets and staff ticket replies to and from multiple languages using various AI translation platforms, enabling you to provide multilingual support without the need for manual translation. By connecting to HostBIll AI modules the plugin ensures fast, accurate, and context-aware translations tailored to the tone and content of each message.

OpenAI Translation plugin works combined with the Translation Toolkit module. 

Activating the module

  1. The plugin is free and available to all HostBill users. In order to activate the plugin go to Settings→ Modules→ Plugins → Inactive, find and activate openai_translation plugin.
  2. Once the plugin is activated you will be directed to Settings→ Modules→ Plugins to configure the module.

Module configuration

Once you activate the module you will be redirected to module configuration page. To configure the activated module you can also go to Settings → Apps → Add New App.

Fill in the configuration fields:

  1. Module display name
  2. API Key - API Key for https://openai.com/index/openai-api/
  3. API Model
  4. Temperature - what sampling temperature to use, between 0 and 2. Higher values like 0.8 will make the output more random while lover values like 0.2 will make it more focused and deterministic. Default is 1
  5. Additional Prompt - provide additional prompt that should be sent to OpenAI as chat system message prior to asking for translation
