CoinGate

Overview

CoinGate offers software solutions that give an extremely easy way for online businesses and retail shops to accept payments in the digital currencies: Bitcoin and Altcoins. HostBill supports CoinGate payment gateway for collecting payments out of the box.

Activating the module

In order to activate the module login to your HostBill admin panel, go to Settings → Modules → Payment Modules, choose Coingate gateway and click Activate.

Module configuration

Once the payment gateway is activated you need to configure it.

Then proceed to filling in all other configuration fields:

App ID
API Key
Auth Token
Select your Receive Currency (BTC, EUR or USD)

All required information can be obtained once you login to your CoinGate Dashboard. Simple click on "API » Apps". Click on "New App", fill in the empty fields and press Create and copy APP ID, API Key and API Secret.

FAQ

Question: I've enabled the module but it does not display in my client portal.
Answer: This module does not support the currency you attempt to display it in, please use background currency conversion.
