Stripe Intents SEPA Direct Debit

Overview


HostBill supports Stripe Intents SEPA Direct Debit payment gateway for collecting payments out of the box.

Activating the module


In order to activate the module login to your HostBill admin panel, go toSettings → Modules → Payment Modules, choose Stripe Intents SEPA Direct Debit gateway and click Activate.

Module configuration


Please note: 

In order for the gateway to work properly you need to configure the Webhook. Please see the external article on Webhook setup.

Once the payment gateway is activated you need to configure it.

Then proceed to filling in all other configuration fields:

  1. Secret Key
  2. Publishable Key -both keys can be obtained once you login to your Stripe dashboard (go to Your Account → API)
  3. Signing Secret  - refer to Webhook setup.
  4. Collect recurring - When enabled module will use cron to charge open/unpaid invoices for customer with stored stripe mandates
  5. Days Before Due date - Enter number of days before due date module should capture for due payments (if Collect Recurring is Enabled)
  6. Assume successful charge - Once enabled, as soon payment is submitted it will be added to HostBill in Processing state. Once payment is succesful it will change transaction status in HostBill to Success. If it fails, it will be charged back in HostBill
  7. Allow client to remove mandate - when enableda llow client to remove mandate from client area

All required information can be obtained once you login to your Stripe merchant panel.


Mandate Reference on Invoice template

If Collect Recurring option is enabled, and customer paid with this module before, new variables will be available in invoice template for invoices using this payment method:

Automated captures

Automated captures for this module are controlled by General Settings → Billing → eCheck/ACH/Bank/SEPA 


FAQ


Question: I've enabled the module but it does not display in my client portal.
Answer: This module does not support the currency you attempt to display it in, please use background currency conversion.
