Configuring module

1. In HostBill go to Settings > Modules, find and activate GoCardless.com module
2. You will be taken to Settings > Modules > Payment to configure your module
3. Provide your App & Merchant Webhook secret and Access token settings available in Developer tab of your GoCardless.com accountChoose module behavior using checkboxes, use of them is explained below
4. Save changes

Setting GoCardless.com account

1. In HostBill go to Settings->Modules->Payment->GoCardless.com
2. Copy Redirect URI & Webhook URICallback URL
3. Go to GoCardless.com, login to your account and paste URIs metioned above intoDeveloper->URI Settingsmentioned above into Developer→Create→Webhook endpoint
4. Enter your webhook secret, same one as entered in module configuration
5. Save changes

How GoCardless.com works with HostBill

• If you select Enable Pre-Authorization in module settings HostBill will create Pre-Authorization upon client signup with recurring service.
• Note: Pre-Authorizations are created only if invoice that is paid consist recurring service, otherwise one-off payment is requested
• Direct Debit payment can take up to 5 business days, invoice in HostBill will remain unpaid for this period
• If you wish your client's invoices to be marked as Paid immediatelly after submitting payment, enable Skip delay option in module configuration
• Invoices containing items with pre-authorization set up will be automatically charged by HostBill cronCustomer choose to pay invoice using GoCardless module
• He is redirected to GoCardless to enter his bank details for direct debits
• Gocardless sends customer token representing his bank account to HostBill to store
• HostBill uses this token to charge bank account using GoCardless. Token is stored in client profile
• With each next invoice generated for customer using GoCardless module, HostBill will attempt to charge customer token stored.
• Module will follow automation settings for captures set in Settings → Billing → Credit Cards
