Connecting HostBill with InterNetX

Overview


InterNetX is a worldwide specialist for domain, hosting and security solutions. InterNetX SSL module for HostBill lets you offer and automatically provision SSL certificates for your clients.

Activating the module


  1. If the module is included in your HostBill edition you can download it from your client portal.
  2. If the module is not included in your HostBill edition you can purchase it from our marketplace and then download it from the client area.
  3. Once you download the module extract it in the main HostBill directory.
  4. Go to Settings → Modules → Hosting Modules, find and activate InterNetX
SSL hosting module
  • You will be redirected to Settings > Apps to setup connection with InterNetX.
  • Enter Username, Password and Context that was provided by InterNetX.

    1. Proceed to Settings → Apps → Add new App
    2. From Applications list select ISP Manager
    3. Enter:
      • Name - Name of this connection
      • Username
      • Password
      • Context - provided by InterNetX 
      • If you need to use non-standard endpoint enter it in API Endpoint field. If left empty HostBIll will connect to https://gateway.autodns.com/
    Use "Test Configuration"

          4. Verify entered credentials by clicking Test Connection to check if

    credentials are valid, and

    HostBill can connect

    Adding InterNetX SSL product


    1. In HostBill go
    to 
    1. to Settings
    > Products
    1. → Products & Services,
    and 
    1. and Add new order page
    2. From Order Types select SSL Certificates
    After creating order page add new product in it, provide name & Save changes
    1. Enter your orderpage name, select orderpage template. Save Changes
    2. Add new product in the new orderpage. Provide product name and setup price and then Save Changes.
    3. In product configuration section proceed to Connect with App,
    select 
    1. select InterNetX SSL
     module and
    1.  and App server created in previous steps.
    2. Select Product Type that you want to provision with this package
    3. For multi-domain certificates you will be able to define SAN Limitor allow clients to select it during order.
  • Navigate to Client Functions and make sure that Certificate Setup and Certificate Details options are enabled.

    Configuring Client Functions   


    In Products & Services → Your Order Page  Your Product → Client Functions you can control what features customer will have access to in client portal, by clicking Enable/Disable next to the given option.
    Use Edit button to adjust function appearance in the client portal.

    For InterNetX SSL you can enable standard client functions:

    1. Change Billing Cycle

    6. Login Details
