Activating the module

  1. This plugin is included in your HostBill (provided you're using latest versions)
  2. Once you download the plugin extract it in the main HostBill directory.
  3. Go to Settings → Modules, find and activate Mandrill Mail plugin
  4. Once the plugin is activated you will be directed to Settings→ Modules→ Plugins to configure the plugin.

Module configuration

Fill in the configuration fields:

  1. API Key


Obtaining API key from Mandrill

First of all you must have an active Mandrill account.

Log in to your Mandrill account.

To use the Mandrill service, first you must have a confirmed domain:

  1. Go to the left menu and click the Settings → Sending Domains button
  2. Follow the instructions to verify the domain

After that, you need to have API key:

  1. Go to the left menu and click the Settings → SMTP & API Info button
  2. Use the + New API Key button to create the new API key,
  3. Copy the API key and put in the field in the module's configuration,

Next click the Save changes button
