BTCPay Server

Overview

BTCPay Server is a free, self-hosted and fully open-source cryptocurrency payment processor designed with security, privacy and censorship-resistance at its core. HostBill supports BTCPay Server payment gateway for collecting payments out of the box.

Activating the module

In order to activate the module login to your HostBill admin panel, go to Settings → Modules → Payment Modules, choose BTCPay gateway and click Activate.

Once the payment gateway is activated you need to configure it.

Then proceed to filling in all other configuration fields:

API Key - can be created in your BTCPay Server
BTCPay server URL - provide here URL address of BTCPay server installation

To get the API Key first you must log in to your BTCPay server.

In the field `BTCPay server` in the configuration of the BTCPay module enter the address of this server.

Next, go to the Stores page and create a new store.

After creating a new store, go to the Access Tokens section and create a new API Key. Once created paste it into the field API key in the configuration of the module.

FAQ

Question: I've enabled the module but it does not display in my client portal.
Answer: This module does not support the currency you attempt to display it in, please use background currency conversion.
