EasyPay.pt Checkout

Overview

Easypay.pt Checkout is an online payment processing company based in Portugal. The company provides multiple payment methods such as Multibanco, Direct Debit, MB WAY, Credit card, Virtual IBAN, Apple pay, Google pay, Samsung wallet. HostBill supports EasyPay.pt checkout payment gateway for collecting payments out of the box.

 

Activating the module

In order to activate the module login to your HostBill admin panel, go to Settings → Modules → Payment Modules, choose easypayptcheckout gateway and click Activate.

Once the payment gateway is activated you need to configure it.

Then proceed to filling in all other configuration fields:

  1. Account ID: Account ID from the easypay dashboard (easypay dashboard → Developers -> Configuration API 2.0 -> Keys -> ID)

  2. API key: API key from the easypay dashboard (easypay dashboard → Developers -> Configuration API 2.0 -> Keys -> Key)

  3. Payment Methods: Select the payment methods you want to make available to your customers via the http://easypay.pt checkout gateway.

All required information can be obtained once you login to your EasyPay merchant panel.

 

Obtaining API Token from easypay.pt

Log in to your easypay account.

To obtain your API Key:

  1. From Dashboard → Developers → Configuration API 2.0 choose your payment account.

  2. Go to Keys and click the Nova button.

  3. Enter the key name and click the Save button.

  4. Copy the ID and Key to configure the module.

 

Setting up a webhook

  1. From Dashboard → Developers → Configuration API 2.0 choose your payment account.

  2. Go to Notifications and fill in all three fields with links to the callback URL from the module

  3. Then click the save button

 

FAQ

Question: I've enabled the module but it does not display in my client portal.
Answer: This module does not support the currency you attempt to display it in, please use background currency conversion.
