Overview


HostBill client area is highly customizable. HostBill gives you plenty of possibilities to decide what your customers will have access to in their client area.

Available options

Allow signup without purchase

This feature controls whether or not to allow prospects to signup without making a purchase.

Allow client to add contacts

Toggle contact management options for your clients. If enabled client will be able to add another admin contacts

Allow clients to set IP access rules

This option controls client area IP security section, it will be inaccessible if disabled. Previously created access rules will still apply even if this is disabled.

Allow Clients to manage ssh keys

This option controls client area SSH keys management option. If enabled client will be able to manage SSH keys from their client panel

Allow client to view credit log

This feature controls whether or not to allow clients to view credit log in their client panel.

Allow to see Canceled/Terminated services

This feature controls whether or not to allow clients to browse canceled and terminated services in their client panel.

Allow client to receive portal notifications

This feature controls whether or not to allow clients to receive notifications on various events in their client panel.

Allow canceling service with unpaid invoice

When this option is enabled the client will be able to file a cancellation request for the (existing) service with unpaid invoice. Please note that if you allow customers to cancel the service with unpaid invoice it may be later difficult for you to receive the due payment.

Allow canceling unpaid invoice for new order

When this option is enabled the client will be able to cancel the unpaid invoice for a new order (if the client changes their mind and resigns from the service).

Allow cancelling invoice for domain renewal

This feature controls whether client will be able to cancel the invoice issued automatically upon domain renewal.

Allow upgrading service with unpaid invoice

Controls whether or not the client is allowed to upgrade the service when they have unpaid invoice for the given service.

Allow client to remove unpaid "add funds" and "bulk payment" invoices

Controls whether or not the client is allowed to remove unpaid 'add funds" and 'bulk payment' invoices.

Allow customer to control invoice merge settings

This feature controls whether client will be able to configure invoice merge settings.

Allow client to control Invoice Delivery method

This feature controls whether or not to allow clients to control how invoices should be delivered - by email or whether the invoice should be printed out.

Allow immediate service owner change

This feature controls whether once the client submits service/domain ownership change it should be transferred immediately or if each request needs to be approved by new owner first.

Allow customer to control automatic credit application

This feature controls whether client will be able to choose whether or not the credit should be added automatically.

Allow download Account Statement

This feature controls whether client will be able to download Account Statement - a list of all transactions and invoices in a PDF document.

Restrict upgrades if client has debt

This feature controls whether to restrict upgrade order creation for clients which has debt more than X days.

Display services in subcategories

This feature controls how services in subcategories should be displayed: as separate entries or under the main category.
